Without a doubt, once you are born into this human body, you start getting older year by year as you advance towards your ripening age. These are the first words that appeared on Getting Older – Women’s Point of View.
Why should we repeat them here? Simply because men are not so different from women and these words suits them also very well.
Of course, there are voices claiming that Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. Well done! On a certain level, this is an accurate statement.
But… as long as our human bodies live on the planet called Earth, several elements apply to both genres.
- Such as getting older.
- Such as singing;
- Such as having a point of view.
- Such as enjoying the whole process.
- Such as… many more.
Some men still feel frustrated about aging. There are also many men who perceive the entire process as a blessing.
This post was supposed to be a mirror of the one mentioned above but… somehow… I couldn’t find any inspirational songs sung by a man about getting old. Of course, I would be grateful if you could let me know if there is one out there.
Instead of listening to a song that I couldn’t find, I chose a poem instead. A poem recited by a man possessing a compelling voice.
Leonard Cohen – Recitation / A Thousand Kisses Deep
Well… if you loved the above poem as much as I did, let’s find out what other men had to say about aging.
